..LeBron's girlfriend not thrilled with Miami
By Garrett Downing, NewsNet5/WEWS-TV
A month has passed since LeBron James announced his decision to leave Cleveland for Miami, and his longtime girlfriend recently commented on the move.
Savannah Brinson, the mother of James’ two children, told Harpers Magazine that she was not initially thrilled with the move.
"Personally, Miami was not my favorite place. Vacationing there is great: You go for three days and get some sun, and it's time to go home," Brinson said in the interview. “It will definitely be an adjustment, but we'll make it. We're not complaining."
Brinson and James have dated since high school, and Brinson said that she plans to split her time between Akron and Miami.
During the interview, Brinson also talked about the idea of marriage, saying, "I would never rush him to do something like that. We're really comfortable with the way things are now. And it's not up to me. When it happens, it happens.”
